Trade Supply Group is seeking a Credit Manager/Accounts Receivable Manager for its corporate office located in Soho, Manhattan.  If you are an energetic, self-motivated candidate with professional relevant work experience, we would encourage you to apply.

Core Competency and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or related field preferred
  • Ability to work with all levels of management and personnel
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Willingness to complete all LMS training classes regarding Accounts Receivable

 

Job Responsibilities:

  •  Manage the accounts receivables for each business
  • Review and approve aging’s for each business; monitoring and reporting trends and areas of risk 
  • Oversee and approve all requests for credit lines and payment terms for customers
  • Improve overall collections process: including collection calls, legal process and collection letters
  • Coordinate with outside legal on all write offs
  • Ensure customer credit files are efficiently maintained always
  • Prepare weekly and monthly AR reporting such as; AR balances, over 60 days and average collection days
  • Manage daily customer credit queue
  • Make AR calls and ensure an efficient amount of collection calls are being made across all businesses
  • Supervise accounting staff on collections calls
  • Work with personnel across departments and provide AR and credit training
