Simon's Hardware & Bath is a seeking an inside sales representative with experience in the Building Supply industry and a strong sales and customer service sense. If you are energetic and you have an ambitious and positive attitude, we look forward to hearing from you!

Core Competencies:

  • Experience in the Building Supply industry
  • Strong Sales and Customer Service sense
  • Computer literate (proficient in Microsoft office and ability to learn Order Entry system)
  • Ability and desire to learn and understand product specifications

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop new customers, sales opportunities and maintain existing business
  • Display eagerness and drive to learn and stand behind our Company brand
  • Attend product training and continuously exercise technical product knowledge
  • Provide consultative approach when dealing with customers to meet their needs
  • Prepare competitive bids/quotes for clients on all project sizes to win the business
  • Drive sales against quotas and budgets with a focus on Gross Profit margins
  • Understand the importance of sales goals and market trends for forecasting
  • Follow up on all open quotes to ensure they are being actively pursued
  • Review calling queue daily and reach out to customers requiring follow up
  • Service the client throughout the entire sales process (order, delivery, installation)
  • Greet every customer that enters the showroom and ask if they need help
  • Answer all incoming phone calls within 2 rings to show immediate attention
  • Respond to all client inquiries within the same business day via phone, email or in person
